Little did illustrator Wendy Paula Patterson realise, when she began collecting French vintage and antique ephemera, that this passion would grow into a deliciously envisioned collection of cards, collage prints and gift tags.
Mulberry Muse is the marriage of Wendy’s original illustrations with precious finds such as vintage button cards or music sheets she scours from flea markets, antiquarian books, or relics from her travels around the world. The results find peacocks perched regally beneath golden vines, butterflies floating among lines of poetry, and Marie Antoinette coyly inviting you in for cake.
All of her works are beautifully packaged, tied with vintage seam binding, and evoke a nostalgic desire to revive the lost art of letter writing.
