A LIFE WELL-LIVED
Photographer Tom Palumbo’s archival project offers us a portal into a life well-lived.
In it, the scandal-hungry gather around Truman Capote for gossip, Palumbo’s small son innocently offers him a pack of Lucky Strikes, the first spark of love is captured at an Yves saint Laurent after-party, and a saucer-eyed teenage Mia Farrow hides a secret (she was dating Frank Sinatra).
In each image, an innate trust between the photographer and his subject is present, consistently revealing something authentic and extraordinary.
